The Big Bang
About 5 billion years ago, a planet was formed with a massive explosion of our star in our galaxy. This explosion is called a supernova. The wreckage from the explosion later crashed to a nearby cloud of gas, bringing together the pieces for our solar system to form. Because the heat inside from the explosion was so powerful, the dust's that were spread everywhere began to pull itself together with its own gravitational force. The dust's started making bigger and bigger lumps. This is a SUPERNOVA!!!!!!!!!!!
How the sun was madeFinally the middle of the lump became so hot and solid that it started to form its own energy, starting up fires.This was how our sun formed. The leftover of the dusts twirled around the star, forming it into a disc. After awhile, the sun grew the size it is today and the dusty disc cooled. Millions of years past and while that was happening, the disc combined into big chunks of rock (planetesimals), enough to have their own gravity. Some of the planetesimals became the beginning formation of the planet in our solar system. Slowly the rocky planets started to settle , putting themselves at a comfortable gap from the sun and finding their own orbit. Why do all planets look differently?The reason why all the planets look differently is because they all are made of different stuff. That is why when you see a planet, it has different colours then the others. Here, lets look at the 2 planets and compare them ☛ Mercury is a small, rocky planet . It has some dark areas and many craters on its ground, but has no atmosphere or water . Venus is a white planet with some markings. It is completely covered by white clouds. Underneath its clouds, Venus’s atmosphere is made of un breathable carbon-dioxide gas. This traps heat from the sun like a blanket, so temperatures at the planet’s surface reach nearly 500°C, and there is barely any water on Venus.
